Software development as a passion
Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated with programming. It started with an online Browser game where you could change your guild page with HTML and CSS. Even before this time, I had a Commodore 64 which required some user instructions to run programs.
It had me intrigued by how some keywords could lead to the computer following your instructions. The Idea of having the tools to virtually create anything was powerful.
That’s why I decided to do programming for a living. This led to me getting my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. I always have been not quite the same as others. During my studies we had projects to create, those programs/websites had quite short deadlines and little functionality and ended up in oblivion right after the deadlines. It frustrated me because I wanted to create something of value, an app others would enjoy. While my fellow students did what they were asked to, I took my time and did my own projects, and played with the new technologies we learned.
Because of this, I was progressing slower in my studies than others. But it was not in vain because I was able to learn more. Looking back after all these years it seems that somehow all these small adventures I took were exactly what I needed afterward.
Software development as an income stream
One of these projects was guide-cloud, a website to host information about e-sports and guides. The main focus was League of Legends but the intent was to scale to other games. A friend of mine and I worked day and night on this project, I even paused my studies for a whole year only to drop it after more than a year of work.
Soon you can read more about this project. Currently, while I am building this blog I am learning about the tools, and a lot of my time is spent on SEO techniques. New projects like NameForge or EconomicCalendar are added first to test these techniques and because my memories are fresh. But older projects will be added too, bear with me.
Tools for Achieving Financial Freedom
Early in my life, we haven’t had a lot of money but on the contrary, we had just enough to survive. As soon as something broke or I or my siblings had a school trip my family needed help. This inspired me to make a lot of money to be able to support my family and never again have to rely on others in financial terms. My job as a software developer got me to this point. I can make a good living from programming. The tasks given are very interesting and I have a lot of freedom in my decisions.
But the itching is not yet satisfied! My goal is to decide whether I go to work or not, how I start and end my days, or when to take a vacation. I want to do good for the world. And even more ambitious I want my grandchildren to be in the same position. In my opinion, the only way to achieve such wealth is by stacking passive income sources and making money work for you.

These tools will be discussed in my blog. I will tell you about my projects, and the things I tried and learned while working on these projects. I will review products and ideas which fit into these categories. Some links may be affiliate links, to cover my costs.
